When considering the purchase of an RV, whether new or used, ensuring it meets your standards for safety and functionality is crucial. Our Pre-Purchase NRVIA Inspections provide a meticulous review of the RV's overall condition, offering you confidence and clarity in your buying decision. Certified by the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA), our inspections are comprehensive, covering over 500 points to uncover the true health of the RV you are looking to buy or sell.

Introduction to Pre-Purchase Inspections

This comprehensive inspection is designed for both buyers and sellers and is conducted by Lucas, a certified NRVIA inspector. It examines over 500 points on the RV, ensuring a thorough assessment of its condition, regardless of whether it's new or previously owned. This inspection includes:

  • Detailed Examination: Every aspect of the RV is scrutinized, from structural elements to individual system functionality, including plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.

  • Extensive Reporting: You receive a detailed report with 80 to 100 photos, providing a complete understanding of the RV's condition.

  • Fluid Analysis: For drivable RVs, fluid samples of engine oil, transmission oil, and coolant are analyzed, reducing the risk of underlying mechanical issues.

  • Negotiation Leverage: The comprehensive findings allow you to negotiate price adjustments or necessary repairs before finalizing your purchase.

  • Duration: This inspection generally takes 6 to 8 hours, depending on the RV's size and complexity.

Our Pre-Purchase NRVIA Inspection is an extensive examination designed to evaluate all aspects of the RV. From the engine and electrical systems to plumbing, HVAC, and structural integrity, every component is scrutinized. Here's what you can expect:

  • Exterior: Inspection of the body, windows, and wheels for any signs of damage or wear.

  • Interior: Checking appliances, systems, and interior surfaces for functionality and condition.

  • Mechanical Systems: Detailed assessment of the engine, transmission, and other mechanical components.

  • Safety Checks: Verification of all safety features including brakes, lights, and alarms.

Detailed Reports & Documentation

Each inspection culminates in a detailed report that includes 80 to 100 high-quality photos and, where necessary, video documentation.
